Did you know it can take over 40 people to help run worship services throughout any given week?

You could be one of those volunteers!  We are always looking for musicians, ushers, acolytes, scripture and prayer readers, communion servers/assistants, and audio/video operators.  Scheduling is flexible, and you can volunteer at the service times you prefer to attend. To learn more about volunteering, please contact Erin Rodgers at 402-895-3366, or email her here.

Choir for Christ

If you like to sing, we’d love to have you join Choir for Christ, the adult choir at St. Paul’s! The choir is always open to singers of all voice parts, ages high school through adult, and rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 7:00. Choir for Christ is a friendly group of volunteers who sing regularly throughout the school year, and we’re always delighted to welcome new voices to the ensemble. The repertoire for Choir for Christ ranges from contemporary to traditional choral pieces. Come visit us for a rehearsal… we’d love to have you join us at any time!  Remember, “Those who sing, pray twice!”

Worship Team

Do you love music? Join our praise team! Our volunteer worship team consists of singers, guitarists, keyboardists, drummers, and others of all skills and backgrounds. Worship team members help lead the 6:30 p.m. Wednesday service, the 5:30 p.m. Saturday service, and the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service.

This ministry seeks to include musicians who desire to help lead our congregation in expressing their faith through song, and who enjoy having fun making great music together! Scheduling is extremely flexible; worship team members can choose to lead consistently or occasionally, depending on availability and preference.

Cantor

Do you enjoy singing and prefer a traditional worship setting?  Consider serving as a cantor! Here at St. Paul’s, our cantors are an integral part of our 8:30 a.m. traditional worship service, leading the congregation in singing various parts of the liturgy. Scheduling is flexible, and our cantors each typically sing approximately once every two months.
